Our sophomore entry in the International Journal of Blockchain Law on crypto custody.
by Edmund Yong, Gan Ming Chiek, Kelvin Wong
Written and edited by lawyers, Global Blockchain Business Council (GBBC)’s International Journal of Blockchain Law (IJBL) is designed to help interested business and non-legal communities better understand the regulatory world of blockchain and digital assets.
We are pleased to have contributed, alongside other thought leaders in the blockchain and digital asset space, to Volume XII of IJBL. It highlights key regulatory developments across Asia, Europe, and the United States. In this edition, we explore the interoperability challenges between MiCA and PSD2, digital asset custody (DAC) frameworks in Malaysia, Hong Kong’s new stablecoin law, the legal and governance issues accompanying the emergence of agentic AI, the U.S. CFTC’s recent advisory on the participation of foreign-organized entities in digital asset derivatives trading, evolving UK cryptoasset regulations.
